How it Works

Homeopathy is a gentle, holistic form of treatment which stimulates the body’s ability to heal itself.  It is a safe form of treatment for adults, children and babies, prescribing minute doses of natural substances.

How does it work?

Homeopathy works on the principle of similars or ‘like can be cured by like’. A substance which can produce symptoms of an illness will also cure the same symptoms in a sick person. An example of this is if someone has nettle rash it can be treated with Urtica Urens which is more commonly known as stinging nettle.

Homeopathic remedies derive from many different natural sources and are safe, non addictive with no toxic side effects. They can safely be used alongside treatment from your GP

Is homoeopathy suitable for everyone?

Homeopathic treatment is suitable for everyone from newborn babies through to the elderly. It is also effective through pregnancy and labour. Homeopathy is suitable for chronic and acute conditions and the gentle yet powerful remedies can act both curatively and preventively.

Homeopaths treat patients as individuals, taking into account all mental, emotional and physical characteristics. Even if there is no diagnosis for your symptoms but you know something is wrong, homeopathy can help.
